【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesproductiontests,inspections,conformityassessmentproceduresandmarkingrequirementsforlife-savingappliancesthatutilizepyrotechnicdevicesinfunctioning.Specifically,itappliestoproductswhichhavebeenevaluatedandtestedinaccordancewiththeInternationalMaritimeOrganization(IMO)Recommendationontestingoflife-savingappliances,andtypeapprovedbymaritimeadministrationstotherequirementsoftheIMOLife-SavingAppliance(LSA)Codeforuseonshipssubjecttotherequirementsofthe1974SafetyofLifeatSeaConvention(asamended).Thebasicprinciplesmaybeconsideredsuitableforpyrotechniclife-savingappliancesmanufacturedtootherthantheIMOrequirements,howeverthisInternationalStandardappliesdirectlyonlytoproductsforwhichitcontainsspecificrequirements.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotaffecttherequirementinpart2,section4oftheIMORecommendationontestingoflife-savingappliancestoperiodicallyrepeatfullprototypetestingofpyrotechniclife-savingappliances.However,compliancewiththisInternationalStandardmaybetakenintoaccountbyadministrationsinprescribingthefrequencyofsuchtests.
