【摘要】:Allsulfurpresentinpetroleumproductsisconvertedtosulfuroxidesuponcombustion,whichisasignificantpollutantoftheatmosphere.Thistestmethodcanbeusedtomonitorthetotalsulfurlevelsinthesefuels.Note18212;Virtuallyallsulfurcompoundswillbedetectedbythistechnique.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftotalsulfurinliquidhydrocarbons,boilingintherangefromapproximately25to400x00B0;C,withviscositiesbetweenapproximately0.2and10cSt(mm/S)atroomtemperature.Thistestmethodisapplicabletonaphthas,distillates,andmotorfuelssuchasgasolines,reformulatedgasolines,gasohols,dieselsandbiodieselscontainingapproximately1to100mg/kgtotalsulfuringasolinetypeproducts,andapproximately1to40mg/kgsulfurindieseltypeproducts.1.2Thedetectorresponseforthistechniquewithinthescopeofthistestmethodislinearwithsulfurconcentration.1.3Basedoninterlaboratorystudy,thepooledlimitofquantitationofthistestmethodis3mg/kgforgasolineandx003C;0.5mg/kgfordieselsamples.1.4ThistestmethodmeetstheU.S.EPArequirementsformeasuringsulfurinultralowsulfurdieselfuelsbythedesignatedTestMethodD6428,aspublishedintheU.S.FederalRegisterx00A7;80.520(a)(1).1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSections8and9.
