【摘要】:Thispracticecoversthehandling,testing,andprocedureforusingaradiochromicfilmdosimetrysystemtomeasureabsorbeddoseinmaterialsirradiatedbyphotonsorelectronsintermsofabsorbeddoseinwater.Thispracticeappliestoradiochromicfilmdosimetersthatcanbeusedwithinpartorallofthespecifiedrangesasfollows:Theabsorbeddoserangeis1X10-2to1X102kGy.Theabsorbeddoserateis1X10-2to1X1013Gy/s(1-4).Theradiationenergyrangeforbothphotonsandelectronsis0.1to50MeV.Theirradiationtemperaturerangeis-78to+60?C.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
