【摘要】:ThisdocumentspecifiesamethodforthedeterminationofthepreventiveactionofawoodpreservativeagainstrecentlyhatchedlarvaeofHylotrupesbajulus(Linnaeus)whenthepreservativeisappliedasasurfacetreatmenttowood.Thismethodisapplicableto:—water-insolublechemicalswhicharebeingstudiedasactiveinsecticides;—organicformulations,assuppliedoraspreparedinthelaboratorybydilutionofconcentrates;—organicwater-dispersibleformulationsassuppliedoraspreparedinthelaboratorybydilutionofconcentrates,and—water-solublematerials,forexamplesalts.Themethodisapplicablewhetherornotthetestspecimenshavebeensubjectedtoappropriateageingprocedures.
