【摘要】:Thisguideestablishesarecommendedprocedureforutilizinganicestaffasaself-rescuetechniqueonice.Allpersonswhoareidentifiedasicerescuersshallmeettherequirementsofthisguide.Thisguidewillassistgovernmentagencies;state,local,orregionalorganizations;firedepartments,rescueteamsandotherswhoareresponsibleforestablishingaminimumperformanceforpersonnelwhorespondtoiceemergencies.Thisguideisnotintendedtobeusedinisolation,butasacomponentguideacknowledgingmanyskillsandtechniquesneededtorespondatacoldwaterandiceemergency.Anicerescuershallbewearinganimmersionsuit,drysuitwithPFD,orequivalentcoldwaterprotectionandbuoyancytoperformtheserescues.Anicerescuershallcarryasetoficeawlsalongwiththeicestaffasabackuptechnique.1.1Thisguidedescribestheself-rescuetechniqueoniceutilizinganicestaff.1.2Thisguideisoneinaseriesofself-rescuetechniquesfortheicerescuer.1.3Individualswhowilloperateinthecoldwateroricerescuesettingneedtobeawareoftheequipmentandphysicalrequirementsnecessarytobeabletoperformallidentifiedobjectivesandnecessaryskillsinthesetting.
