【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesminimumlevelsofperformancerequirementsforprotectiveclothingtobewornduringfirefightingoperationsandassociatedactivitiessuchase.g.rescuework,assistanceduringdisasters.Thedescribedclothingisnotmeanttoprotectagainstdeliberatechemicaland/orgascleaningoperations.ThisEuropeanStandardcoversthegeneralclothingdesign,theminimumperformancelevelsofthematerialsused,andthemethodsoftesttobeusedtodeterminetheseperformancelevels.Therequiredperformancelevelsmaybeachievedbytheuseofoneormoregarments.ThisEuropeanStandardcoverstheeventofanaccidentalsplashofchemicalorflammableliquidsbutdoesnotcoverspecialclothingforuseinotherhigh-risksituationse.g.reflectiveprotectiveclothing.Itdoesnotcoverprotectionforthehead,handsandfeetorprotectionagainstotherhazardse.g.chemical,biological,radiologicalandelectricalhazards.TheseaspectsmaybecoveredinotherEuropeanStandards.
